The Honors Program at San Diego Mesa College enriches students’ lives by offering challenging classes, meaningful community service activities, and intense leadership opportunities. Currently, Mesa College has over 800 students in the Honors Program, representing the top tier of transfer students in the San Diego Community College District. With statewide budget cuts impacting all levels of education, many of our best and brightest honors students cannot transfer to 4-year universities to complete their education as planned. We ask for your help in securing the prospects of these highly motivated students and future community leaders by donating to the Mesa College Honors Program.
Please consider joining one of the funding levels by clicking the "Donor Form."
Your tax deductible contribution will directly impact students by funding their book scholarships, participation at academic research conferences, and the continuity of established honors events. If you join at the Friends Level or above, you will receive recognition on our website and your logo will be included in the HonOur Way newsletter. If you join at the Patrons Level or above, you will be invited to offer speaking opportunities at Honors-sponsored events and celebrations. At the Benefactors Level we will recognize your contribution on an engraved plaque that will be mounted in our Honors Center.
If you are interested in learning more about how your contribution can impact our students, please contact Mesa Honors Program Coordinator, Professor Wendy Smith, at (619) 388-2347 firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks to your donation, our honors college students will be one step closer to transfer success.
