PHYN 105 Physical Science for Elementary Education

Description: This course is an introductory survey of fundamental concepts in physics and chemistry. Emphasis is placed on the ways in which physical science principles are relevant to societal issues, such as energy use and environmental sustainability. This course is especially designed for those interested in teaching science in a primary school setting in which students must understand scientific methodologies and master content in the physical sciences.
