Lisa Williams received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Physical Education, and a minor in Health Education from Eastern Illinois University in 1979. From 1979 through 1982, she was a physical education and health education instructor at Washington High School in Washington, Illinois. She coached the girls' basketball team during that time in a highly competitive Illinois conference. During the 1983 season, she was chosen as the Assistant Basketball Coach for the U.S.A. All Star Team that represented this country at the International Jones Cup Tourney. From 1982 through 1984, she was a Graduate Assistant Coach at Bill Arizona State University. During that time, Arizona State was ranked as a "Top 20," Division I, University Basketball Team. She received her Master of Science degree in Physical Education with emphasis in Exercise Physiology in 1984. She has also assumed the strength coach responsibilities for all intercollegiate teams at Northern Arizona for the past five years. She has experience and teaching competence in health education, aerobic dance, aquatics, weight training and basketball coaching. (Physical Education)
