PHYE 154 Fitness Walking

Description: Fitness Walking is an introductory course that covers the principles of aerobic and cardiovascular health through various walking techniques. Comprehensive instruction in fitness principles, stress reduction, weight management and heart health are covered. This course is intended for Kinesiology majors and all students interested in a healthy lifestyle. When this course is offered for three hours a week the additional time is utilized for skill development and enhanced cardio-vascular fitness.
