Description: This course examines the growth of civilizations and the interrelationships of peoples of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas from the birth of civilization to the eve of the Modern Era. Topics in social, intellectual, economic, and political history are covered. This course is intended for history majors and all students interested in a global historical perspective.
