Jaeryoung Lee, an active performer and music educator, took her first piano lesson at the age of six. After Jaeryoung completed her B. A. in Social Studies, she earned two Master’s degrees: Master of Arts in Piano Pedagogy (classical music emphasis) and Master of Music in Jazz Performance.

She has appeared in many different venues from classical to jazz as a pianist, vocalist, accompanist, band supporter, band leader and musical director. Jaeryoung has been the musical director of Off-Broadway "Menopause" The Musical® by San Diego Repertory Theatre in 2007. As a jazz pianist/vocalist, she has been performing with phenomenal musicians, including Peter Sprague and Vinny Golia.

In addition to performing, she has been teaching various levels of Class Piano for music majors and non music majors, Music Appreciation, Music Theory, Music for Elementary School Teachers, World Music, Show Choir, and Class Voice for jazz vocalist.
