ARTF 198B Introduction to Printmaking II

2 hours lecture, 4 hours lab, 3 units
Letter Grade or Pass/No Pass Option

Description: This course is the second semester in basic printmaking media. Emphasis is placed on increasingly complex processes, such as photo intaglio, collagraph, and reduction color relief. Students apply aesthetic criteria in analyzing their creative choices and examine contemporary printmaking in world cultures. This course is designed for art and art history majors and all students interested in printmaking.
