ARTF 175A Sculpture I

2 hours lecture, 4 hours lab, 3 units
Letter Grade or Pass/No Pass Option

Description: This course is an introduction to sculptural materials, processes, forms, contexts and content. Emphasis is placed on the basic forms and cultural functions of sculpture (past and present). Students produce sculptural artworks under direct guidance of the instructor. This course is intended for students majoring in art and for all students interested in producing three-dimensional art.
