INTE 145 Interior Building Systems and Codes

Description: This course is a survey of basic structural systems of modern buildings. Emphasis is placed on sustainable materials and methods of construction as they relate to interior design projects. This course also explores the legal, social, and economic forces that affect building design and provides an overview of the technical aspects of basic building systems and building codes. This course is designed for students majoring in interior design.
