Description: This course is a review of Asian Pacific Americans in the social, political, economic and cultural development of the United States from Reconstruction to the present. The emphasis is on the Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Lao, Hmong, and Hawaiian experiences. This course presents American history as it relates to the experience of Asian immigrants and Asian Pacific Americans.
