Description: This course is a study of applications of the principles of mechanics to rigid bodies in equilibrium. The course content emphasizes areas of friction, centroids, center of gravity, analysis of structures, moments of inertia and methods of virtual work. This course is intended for students majoring in Engineering or disciplines included in the physical sciences.
