Transfer Students Opportunities

SDSU Microsite Degree Completion Program at Mesa

San Diego Mesa students can now get a San Diego State University degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Bachelor of Art in Communication online without having to set foot on an SDSU campus through a partnership with San Diego Mesa College and SDSU.

  • Application Deadline for BS in Business Administration October 15th 2020

 

HSU SPRING 2021 ADMISSION

HSU is still accepting Spring 2021 applications until September 30, 2020. If you need 1:1 appointments, need to check out campus virtually , click on the hyperlinks. 

Regional Admission Counselors of California (RACC) virtual opportunity 

 On October 6th 18 of RACC member institutions will present about transfer opportunities to their out-of-state institutions. Students can register for this event here. And, you can check out the full calendar of events here (Only the events labelled as “Transfer Admission” are specifically tailored to transfer students.)

CSU CAMPUS WEEK

The CSU Chancellor’s Office and all 23 campuses are excited to provide an alternative to in-person college fairs. CSU Week will take place October 5th through Ocotber 9th. Each campus will present a short live session to provide a campus overview, information about the admission process and a question and answer portion. CA PRIVATE SCHOOLS TRANSFER WEEK

CA Private School Transfer Week ( AICCU Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities) will take place on September 21st trough September 24th. 40 AICCU colleges and universities will present separate sessions for high school and community college students. Each campus will hold a 30 minute session for both transfer and first-time freshman audiences. Registration links, capacity, waitlists, and recorded sessions vary by campus and is noted on the schedule of events. You will find registration links and event information on this page.

SDEC ( SAN DIEGO PRIVATE SCHOOL FAIR)

The San Diego Education Consortium (San Diego Private Schools) is participating in two Virtual Transfer Fairs. During the Virtual Transfer Fair you can chat with admissions representatives about majors, admission requirements, financial aid, scholarships and other transfer opportunities. These schools provide great options for transfer students who do not want to or cannot relocate and still want a quality degree and educational experience in some of the most impacted majors (Eg. Business and Psychology). Oftentimes these schools offer deeply discounted fees for adult degree completion programs which makes them very affordable.

ASU Virtual Transfer Friday

To help you with your transfer process, you’re invited to attend a virtual Transfer Friday visit experience. You’ll learn about the transfer admission process at Arizona State University, have a Q&A with a transfer admission representative, and attend a breakout session with the academic college of your intended major.

PSU Virtual Transfer Information Sessions:

Students can sign up on this page. Portland State University is offering the sessions once a week, typically on Wednesdays, and alternating times (offered at 12:00 or 5:00). This is a great option for students who would like to connect with PSU especially since currently PSU is not offering any of their regular in-person transfer programming. UCSD JOURNAL CLUB

This virtual journal club is a great opportunity for incoming transfer students to meet peers and discuss a variety of scientific topics and learn about research methods/analysis. The purpose of Transfers and Non-Traditional Students for Health (TNT 4 Health) Organization is to provide you information and opportunities to pursue a career in health care. Starting Point Mentorship Program (SPMP) at the University of California, Berkeley Mentees application is now open for Spring 2020!

SPMP pairs California Community College students with current UC Berkeley transfer student mentors that offer guidance, motivation and access to admissions, campus, and community resources. The program is specifically designed to encourage California Community College students from all backgrounds to explore their academic potential and prepare for transfer to the UC system.

California virtual college is available online. If you need an online general education course, you may use this tool to find an online course that meets the GE requirements. It's easy to search and filter thousands of online courses at California's community colleges.

Several California community colleges offer ADT degrees completely online. California Virtual Campus is an online resource that provides you with information about available online ADT degrees. You can choose which program interests you, and thanks to its wide array of support services, aren’t limited by distance to the college.
