Andy MacNeill served as the Chair of the ESL Department at Southwestern College for 7 years. He has also served as a faculty leader as the President of the Southwestern College Education Association, the Presiding Chair of the Council of Chairs and as a member of the Academic Senate Executive Board. Before coming to Southwestern College, Andy spent eight years in Japan teaching in the public school system, writing curriculum for a private education company, and teaching at a private university. Andy is presently in the Community College Leadership Doctoral Program at SDSU. He holds a Master's of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Spanish from the School For International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. Andy graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from CSU, Chico.
