Leela Bingham received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Spanish American Literature from San Diego State University. She has been teaching Spanish in the San Diego Community College District for over 20 years, having begun at Miramar in 1985 and transferring to Mesa College in 1998. Leela is involved in coordinating service-learning opportunities for her students and the department.
