Professor Rattner earned her BA degree in English-Professional Writing from California State University, Long Beach, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Southern California. She also holds a Specialized Certificate for Community College Instructors from the University of California, San Diego. Professor Rattner has extensive industry experience in marketing, financial analysis, and publication analysis and is a member of the American Marketing Association. She has served as a contract faculty member in the School of Business, Computer Studies, and Technologies since January 2001.
