To prepare qualified Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) who practice ethical, safe, and effective patient care.
Program Objectives
Select and perform safe and effective interventions within the:
PTA scope of practice
Physical Therapist's plan of care
Knowledge of the CA physical therapy laws and regulations
Ethical and professional behaviors consistent with professional standards and practice
Communicate effectively
Verbally and in writing
