San Diego Mesa College Observes Constitution Day

San Diego Mesa College will observe U.S. Constitution Day on Monday, September 18.  The 216th anniversary of the original signing day in Philadelphia in 1787, falls on Sunday, September 17. The public is invited to attend one or both of the following activities:

San Diego Mesa College Olympian Speech and Debate Team Demonstration

Members of the audience are invited to become a member of 'The House' (audience) as members of the award-winning Mesa College Speech and Debate Team debate a controversial constitution-related topic, in Parliamentary-Style form.

Professor Majorie Cohn lectures worldwide on law, international human rights, and U.S. foreign policy.  She is a news consultant, legal analyst, and commentator for numerous media, including CBS, MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, NPR, BBC, and Pacifica Radio. Voter Registration Drive

Students will conduct a voter registration drive, sponsored by the Mesa College Associated Student Government.
