2nd Annual STAR Awards Details
When: Thursday, May 7, 2009
Where: Mesa Quad (in front of the cafeteria)
Time: 11:30am-1:30pm (Check-in starts at 11:15am). Please be on time.
Why: To recognize the academic achievements, community spirit and athletic excellence of Mesa College Athletes.
Food: A free lunch will be provided.
Keynote Speaker: Monique Henderson, a Track and Field Gold Medalist at the 2004 Olympic Games.
Awards: Awards will be presented and you can nominate your teammate for the "Individual Community Service Award" and/or the "2009 SUPER STAR Award." Obtain a nomination here or through your coach. Nomination forms need to be turned in by April 17, 2009 to your coach or to Kristy Carson in Counseling (I-430-K).
RSVP: In order to attend this event, you must RSVP to your coach by April 17, 2009.
