As Collection Development Librarian, I coordinate the selection and
purchase of all books and electronic books for the library. Only books related to the curricular needs of the students of
Mesa College are added to the collection. Textbooks are not purchased by the library. Requests
for specific books may be forwarded to myself or to any of the librarians. Each full-time librarian is
a liaison, or representative, to several departments/programs on campus. Currently, I am the library liaison
to the following subject areas:
- American Indian Studies
- American Sign Language
- Behavioral Sciences
- Dance
- Mathematics
- Physical Education
- Social Sciences
