Fall 2010
Honors-level, theater-focused Spanish 202 (4th semester) class This Spanish 202, semester 4 course will provide intermediate-advanced students with opportunities to hone their grammatical, writing and oral skills, while exploring Hispanic culture(s) though the non-traditional medium of theatre. The course will provide students with interest or experience in the arts and drama to expand their knowledge within a historical framework of the Spanish speaking world and cultures. Readings will serve as a springboard for historical, social, and cultural discussions. Students will learn how to develop creative forms of expression by completing writing and oral activities, such as scripted dialogues and brief one act plays. At the end of the course students will give a final performance of a one act play in the theater.
