Attention Students

WARNING! If you withdraw from ALL of your classes, you will be required to repay a portion of the Financial Aid funds that you receive.

Students, you can now access your Financial Aid information using Reg-e, by Logging-on at http://studentweb.sdccd.edu and entering your Reg-e PIN. Select "Registration" followed by "View Your Financial Aid". You can determine what forms are necessary to complete your file, if your file is complete, and if you have been determined eligible for any Financial Aid awards. Using Reg-e, you may never have to wait in line again!

FORMS NOTES:

  1. Please allow 24-48 hours for any faxed document to be received and posted. If you fax on Thursday afternoon it will be the following Tuesday before you will see a change on reg-e . Please see office hours.
  2. Please be sure that the student name and CSID number are clearly written on each page sent.
  3. Please DO NOT fax multiple copies of the same document.
  4. Please DO NOT send emails with forms attached to any staff member in the financial aid office. The email server is not encrypted and therefore it's not safe/secure to email anything with their private information. Any Attached documents will be deleted.
  5. For a Password Form click on General Forms below.
  6. Students who need a Social Service or Housing form completed; Please turn the form in to the Financial Aid office.  The form will be completed and ready for pick-up in 48 hours.

VERIFICATION WORKSHEETS 2015-2016

Some students &/or parents may be able to order your tax return transcript on-line to me MAILED to your address on record with IRS to submit to the Financial Aid office. CLICK HERE for more information.  (printing a pdf copy is currently diasable.  Please see IRS ALERT below) 

ALERT-IRS May 2015:

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced that it's "Get Transcript" application has been compromised by, as yet, unknown third parties who gained unauthorized access to the application. The IRS has assured the public that their main database system that enables secure tax filing submission remains protected. The full IRS statement can be read here. What this means for Financial Aid applicants - the IRS has shut down it's on-line "Get Transcript" application until further notice. The only way students and parents can obtain an IRS Tax Transcript is to request one by mail and this process can take up to 10 days for delivery. However, students and parents may also utilize the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) available via FAFSA on the Web.

IRS TAX Transcripts for Victims of Identity Theft

Beginning with the 2013 tax year, tax filers who, because of IRS identity theft, are denied an IRS Tax Return Transcript using one of the regular request processes will be referred to the Identity Protection Specialized Unit (IPSU) toll-free number at 800-908-4490. Filers who believe they are victims of identity theft do not need to be referred to the IPSU; they may call the number directly or go to the ID theft website on irs.gov. After the IPSU authenticates the tax filer's identify, the tax filer can request that the IRS mail to the tax filer an alternate paper tax return transcript.

The alternate transcript is known as the TRDBV (Transcript DataBase View) will look different from the regular IRS Tax Return Transcript provided as a result of the standard request methods. It is, however, an official transcript that meets the Department's acceptable documentation requirement and therefore can be submitted to the school to meet verification requirements.
