Description: This coursed is of interest to students who wish to earn the American Red Cross certifications necessary for employment as a swimming instructor. This course gives the most current instruction in the American Red Cross (ARC) Water Safety Instructor (WSI) course. Upon successful completion, students earn WSI certification, which enables them to teach the Learn to Swim programs of the American Red Cross. Students may repeat this course to renew certifications. Adequate swimming skills are necessary at the Learn to Swim Level 4.
