DANC 183 Music for Dance

Description: Music for Dance introduces the fundamentals of music through the study of terminology, notation, elements and form as they relate to movement. This course explores the interrelationship of music and dance and provides students the opportunity to compose and perform rhythmic and movement projects. This course is of interest to anyone seeking an understanding of music and movement fundamentals as well as dance majors. This course is designed to fulfill lower division requirements for dance majors.
