Description: This is the second course in the college piano sequence. Emphasis is placed on basic piano and keyboard experience through music reading, notation, scales, chords and their inversions, trasposition, and sight-reading. Students play a repertoire of beginning and intermediate songs and piano literature, with emphasis on keyboard harmony. This course is designed for music majors and all students interested in developing fundamental piano and keyboard skills.
