Description: This course focuses on the etiology and characteristics of diseases of the body's systems as they relate to physical therapy and includes a consideration of the general principles of tissue injury, inflammation and healing. The course is designed for students enrolled in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program but is also appropriate for those interested in physical therapy or pathology with a musculoskeletal emphasis.
