Description: This course provides physical therapist assistant (PTA) students with the principles of the functional activities and rehabilitation procedures relating to the management of clients with neurological diagnoses. Topics include normal growth and development and the rehabilitation of cardiopulmonary conditions. The focus is on the safe, legal, ethical and appropriate use of rehabilitation procedures, including physiological and therapeutic effects of treatment.
