Description: This is an introduction to current and emerging e-commerce technologies. Topics include Internet technology for business advantage; managing e-commerce funds transfer; reinventing the future of business through e-commerce; business opportunities in e-commerce; web site design; social, political, and ethical issues associated with e-commerce; and business plans for technology ventures. Students are involved in creating an e-commerce marketing plan as well as a web site based on the plan. This course is intended for students seeking knowledge and experience in the realities of and potential for e-commerce.
