Description: This course provides the future Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with an exposure to the duties that relate to the PTA scope of practice specific to basic principles of therapeutic exercise, including: range of motion, goniometry, manual muscle testing and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Basic lower extremity exercises are also introduced. This course is offered in the spring only.
