Description: This is an introduction to the naturalistic and dynamic representation of the human body. Students sculpt from observation of live, nude models in poses of extended duration. In the process, students come to understand seeing as a learned skill. This course is intended for transfer students planning to major in art and for all students interested in the problems inherent in representing what they see.
