Description: This is a course to provide students an introduction to the unique aspects of Deaf Culture and Deaf community. This course provides in-depth discussion of the beliefs and customs of this sociolinguistic/cultural minority in relation to language use and history of Deaf people in the United States of America. This course is intended for students who are interested in learning about Deaf Culture and the Deaf community.
