Preschool Program Now Accepting Applications!
Open spaces to Children Age 3-5 of Qualified Mesa College Students
The Mesa College Child Development Center Preschool Program offers a State-funded preschool program for children ages 24 months to 5 years of Mesa College students. Mesa CDC has ongoing enrollment throughout the year. Applications and information can be obtained from the office at the Child Development Center located at 7250 Mesa College Drive San Diego, CA 92111. Early registration is recommended. Required paperwork includes: child's immunization record, birth certificate, monthly income verification, and current class schedule.
Most parents are required to participate in the lab program by registering for one of the following lab courses: CHIL 160, CHIL 291A, CHIL 291B, CHIL 291C or CHIL 291D. Please see the Participant Handbook for further information on enrollment, program and policies.
The Child Development Center Preschool Program is a cooperative program between Mesa College and the Neighborhood House Association, Head Start program with funding provided by the California Department of Education, Child Development Division. The program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. As a State-funded facility, low-income families are given first priority.
Location
The Child Development Center is located in Building R, east end of student parking lot #3 at the corner of Armstrong Drive and Mesa College Drive.
Days and Hours of operation:
The Center follows the Mesa College fall, intersession, spring and summer semester schedule.
- Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
