You may apply to the Bridges program if you:
- are a full-time Mesa College student majoring in a biomedical or behavioral science area
- will transfer to a four-year institution, majoring in science
- are an undergraduate with a science major and overall GPA of 2.8 or better and/or show evidence of outstanding research potential
- are a U.S. citizen or hold permanent resident status
- a member of an underrepresented ethnic minority as defined by NIH, but not limited to:
- first-generation college student or low income (as defined by San Diego Mesa College),
- and/or demonstrate a commitment of community and mentoring others.
