Personal: Anne Vaughan was born March 21st, 1986, in Jena, Germany. She has one older sister who lives with the rest of her family still in Germany.
High School: Attended elite boarding school for athletes in Erfurt, Germany where she ran Track & Field for Pierre-de-Coubertin-Gymnasium.
2002: Participated in an exchange program to the East Coast which brought her to Rye COve High Scool in Virgina as a Junior. She competed in the Volleyball, Track, and Basketball program. Helped lead her team to two consecutive State Championships in 2002 and 2003. Named Player of the Year All State as well as 1st Team All State with recognition for most blocks and kills and MVP.
