Animal Health

Orientations

Orientation sessions are scheduled to brief the prospective student about the program, expectations, and selection procedure. Please make an effort to attend one of the sessions. Topics covered are: the application, the special admission process, course work, class schedules, program history, program cost, job opportunities and outlook. There is a question and answer period followed by a tour of the program facilities and animal compound.

Typically, there are three sessions per academic year. Typically they are on Saturday mornings from 9-11 AM. The orientations are held at the Animal Health Technology Facility (P-300) in Room P-308. The facility is at the corner of Genesee Avenue and Marlesta Drive. No RSVP is required. Street parking must be utilized.

Dates for the 2008-2009 academic year are: Sat 9/20/08, Sat 3/7/09 and Sat 5/9/09.

A Certificate of Attendance is given to each attendee and can be used as part of the "proof of career exploration".
