ALERT: With the passage of the Affordable Care Act, anyone who works more than 30 hours per week and does not currently have health care insurance, is entitled to health care options payable by the employer. The SDCCD has put into place a policy to lower the maximum work week for all hourly workers to 25 hours per week to ensure the 30 hours a week maximum is not exceeded. This policy is effective July 01, 2013.
